Our North American headquarters are in Ripon, Wisconsin. -Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
-Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
-Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
-Must have knowledge of the electrical power, steam, water, and gas distribution systems.
-Must perform basic mechanical repairs
-Must be able to perform the work of the lower class identifications.
-May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
-Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
-Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
-Interpret blueprints; work from sketches or verbal instructions.
-Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
-Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
-Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
-Perform a variety of work as directed by the coordinator.
-Two year Associate degree or equivalent work experience required.
2.Skills and Abilities:
-Must be capable of all the preceding pay step requirements.
-Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
